ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Julie Tingley is a community leader, women-empowerment advocate, girl mom, and devout animal lover. After 15 successful years in the medical sales industry, Julie decided to stay home and focus on being a mom to her two little girls. Setting the example of female empowerment, inclusion, and collaboration for both daughters became the driving force that motivated this ambitious mother to bring the KNOW Book + Tribe, a high-level women's membership-based publication and networking group, to Tampa Bay in 2018. KNOW is not only a celebration of women today (with over 300 members), but also a change-agent for the future of the birth-city of Julie's children.
As a Girl Scout leader, dance-mom, and volunteer with multiple non-profit committees and organizations, she also contributes monthly to Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine, where she highlights local mothers and the inspiring things they do through their businesses in the community. Julie lives in Tampa, Florida, with her husband Ken, two daughters Ella and Kate, and her Yorkies, Rocco and Zoey.
